American Sunset RV Park

Event Description

Cascadia’s summer beach party.  Our park is close to the beaches where you will find a paved walking trail beachside and lots of space for kite flying.  If you are interested in trying your hand at stunt kite flying, we have several experienced flyers who would be happy to show you how. Bike riders who like the flats love riding at Westport.

Westport Charter Fishing - Register Now!

Everyone interested in going on the Saturday charter fishing trip at Westport needs to call in to the charter company to register right away, whether or not you have already indicated interest with organizer Mary Schoenfeldt. Here's what you need to do:

1. Call Ocean Charters at 1-800-562-0105 - they are usually open until about 6 pm -
Please do this immediately!
2. Tell them you are with RVing Women. We are tentatively scheduled to be on board the HAWK II
3. Make your own payment arrangements
directly with them... they will gladly take your credit card info. The cost of the trip is $90.00
4. They will be able to sell you a one day fishing license on the day of the trip if you need one. If you have your own Saltwater license, don't forget to bring it with you.
5. If you are interested in buying a box lunch, ask the Charter company about that.
6. After you've made your reservation with Ocean Charters, please let Mary know... either by email (yoursafeplace@msn.com) or phone (425-922-5300) cell phone.

The Plan: Boats will leave the docks at 7 am. Check in at the charter office by no later than 6:15 (they open at 5:30). Transportation from the RV park to the dock will be announced Friday evening. You will need to bring a lunch and drinks - you can take a small cooler if you'd like. Coffee and water are available on board. Please wear non-skid shoes, dress warmly and, if you have it, bring rain gear just in case. The boat returns to the docks at approximately 3:30... earlier if boats limit.
