Event Description
There are plenty of fun things to do in Westport - from charter fishing to kite flying on the beach. This town also has a paved bike/walking path along the shore, so bring your bikes if you're so inclined.

 

Registration

Registration is now closed for this event.  If you are still interested in coming, please contact the park directly to see about availability.  If they can fit you in, go ahead and register with the park and then contact the Registrar to let her know you are coming. Arriving early or staying late: Contact the park directly to reserve extra days(indicate you are with the Cascadia group).

Cost
$31.06 per night for full hookup (tax incl), which includes water, electric, sewer, WiFi and TV cable.   Bring your own coaxial cable for the TV outlets. The utilities are located behind the rigs, so bring long sewer hoses if you have them.  

Payment

Pay when you arrive at the park. Day use fee of $1 if you are visiting but not staying over (stop in the office to get a visitor pass).

General Schedule

Friday

• 5:00 Happy hour in the clubhouse.
• 5:30 Appetizer potluck.

Saturday Morning

11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. whale watching tour with Angler Charters. Cascadia has the whole boats reserved (22 spaces), so call 1-800-422-0425 and talk to Karolyn to book your spot on the boat. Cost: $27.50 per person (tax included). Dress in layers. We'll be on the lookout for grey whales.

• 5:00 Happy hour in the clubhouse.
• 5:30 Seafood potluck. If you don't like seafood, please bring a salad, side or dessert.

Sunday Morning

• 8:00 Breakfast provided by the chapter. French toast, eggs, fruit.

• Bike ride on the Dune Trail

• Fly a kite
• Go charter fishing
• Take a cranberry bog tour
• Westport Maritime Museum
• Attend the Westport Loyalty Day parade on Saturday
• Attend the 27th Annual Oyster Feed in nearby Ocosta on Saturday

Volunteer Activity

• Bring a donation for the Grays Harbor Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Suggested donations include bleach, laundry soap, disinfecting wipes and Cat Chow cat food. Click here for more information
