Increasing Confidence and Safety Among Women RVers and Sharing Enjoyable RVing Opportunities

Event Write-Up for July event in Lost Lakes Washington

Cascadian’s enjoyed a perfect weather weekend at the beautiful Lost Lake Resort near Olympia.  About 50 women gathered Friday night for potluck and games.

Saturday started with a club sponsored breakfast followed by an informative presentation on Registered Domestic Partnership (RDP) and the US Tax implications of RDP lead by Jill and Christine.  The afternoon offered a variety of options including pinochle and other games, Pickle Ball, kayaking, casino, fishing or just relaxing in the sunshine.  Annette won bragging rights with her 21” rainbow trout!  Betty Lou captured a great photo of the bald eagle nesting above the clubhouse.  Most everyone enjoyed some outdoor activity in the gorgeous NW sunshine.

Saturday evening was a club sponsored BBQ organized by event captains Beemer and Diane.  We ate outside on the clubhouse deck and savored the beautiful weather, delicious food and sparkling conversation.  After dinner, several members played Texas Hold’em while others watched the documentary “Home Sweet Roam”.

Sunday morning some members hit the Pickle Ball courts while others visited during the club sponsored continental breakfast.  We bid each other happy trails until Tokeland in August.  Another fun, playful weekend spent with RVing friends!
